The Rorschach test is a psychological test used to examine a person’s personality characteristics.
The test is composed by 10 inkblot cards, each of the blots has a perfect bilateral symmetry that
makes an ambiguous design; the interpretation of these blots is used by psychologists to assess an
individual’s personality.
The Cards project starts from a study of the Rorschach plates but it develops on a physical level.
My plates are used to talk about the body and the theme of the double. The anatomic and cold
study on human bones merges with aspects that goes beyond the physical plane and representing
the psychological dynamics of transfert and visibility, including the feeling in themselves and,
above all, the feeling in front of others, seeing oneself and being seen. These Cards, like the cards
of Rorschach, are the representation of our need to find a balance within ourselves and in our
relationships with others. This work, involving the sense of touch, is free and open to a personal
interpretation and needs to be feed with own symbols, fantasy and ghosts.
